The year 2004 marks 22 years of Suripop
During this time the Stichting ter Bevordering van Kunst en Kultuur in Suriname ( Foundation for the Promotion of Art and Culture in Suriname) has concentrated on stimulating original popsongs written by Surinamese songwriters.
A number of 15 existing SuriPop songs is the final achievement of that effort thus far.
In order to celebrate such milestone, this album with the thirteen winning compositions, plus three favorite tracks of the past 22 years has been issued,remixed and re-mastered!
